Join us for a four-day creative gathering that brings together yoga teachers, child psychologists, social workers and educators. 

Yoga offers powerful tools that can enhance children’s wellbeing, focus, peace and happiness even in the most difficult circumstances.

This is a space for brainstorming, sharing practices and improving. Together, we'll explore how yoga can help children release the psychological scars left by violence, abuse, conflict, and displacement - and find inner peace and happiness.

Our facilitators: Nicola Mueller (Manas Shakti, Switzerland), Irene Gargam (Mantreshwari, Ireland) and Keren Gallagher (Katyayani, UK) bring experience of child therapy, counselling and mainstreaming yoga within the school curriculum. 

Yoga teachers from communities living through ongoing conflict will join us, bringing their on-the-ground perspectives.

What is included: 

Sharing and learning about teaching yoga to children
Yoga lifestyle in a retreat setting, surrounded by olive groves and rolling hills
Daily personal asana and pranayama practice
Yoga nidra sessions
Karma yoga in the kitchen and garden
Daily mantra chanting practice
Connecting with nature and the sacred

Where: 
Living in the quiet retreat centre of Grempoli, surrounded by olive groves, rolling hills, and open skies, you’ll enjoy comfortable Tuscan accommodations and nourishing organic vegetarian meals prepared with ingredients sourced directly from the garden. 

When: 
The retreat will be held over Easter weekend, beginning with lunch at 1pm on Friday 3 April and concluding with lunch at 1pm on Monday 6 April.

We recommend arriving on the evening of Thursday 2 April or morning of Friday 3 April to give yourself ample time to settle in before the program begins.

Fee: Pay what you can, suggested donation 240 euros to cover food and accommodation.
