Enjoy a mindful afternoon of watercolour painting with esteemed local artist Kate Rebecca Leach set to the idyllic backdrop of the Home Farm Glamping Meadow.
In this three hour workshop you'll learn simple watercolour techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet on dry and simple embellishments to make your artwork pop. Being a small group of 12, Kate will be able to spend some one-on-one time with each guest over the duration of the workshop. You'll take inspiration from the abundance of nature on the Home Farm Glamping site - such as flowers, leaves and seed pod motifs to create your own nature-inspired piece of art with support from Kate.
You'll leave with a full materials list to allow you to continue your art practice at home as well as the work you created on the day).

Having gained a degree in textile design and surface pattern life seemed to take Kate away from her art and launched her into a career in marketing. Things changed during the monotony of lockdown 2020 when Kate decided to while away her weekends by picking up a paintbrush. Instantly her passion was reignited and
she was soon creating custom artwork for friends and family- Essoldo Design was born! Kate is inspired by nature from flowers and greenery to gemstones and jewels. She is obsessed with embellishment so her work features a myriad of dots decorations and most importantly gold!
