We’re back at our favourite spot — beautiful Lake Cootharaba — for the 2025 Windsurfer State Championships, and this year we’re aiming to make it the biggest and best yet! 🌊☀️
Whether you're chasing a podium finish or just keen to cruise, this event is all about fun, friendships, and fantastic conditions. Lake Cootharaba is known for its consistent breezes, flat water, great camping, and relaxed vibe — perfect for a springtime weekend of windsurfing and good times.
🏄♂️ What’s On:
• Course racing for Men (Weight Divisions), Women, and Juniors
• Cruiser Class – relaxed racing, ideal for beginners and returning sailors
• (Weather/Time Permitting) Marathon or Slalom
• Special Freestyle Show with Jinxy, Josh, and World Bronze Medallist Frank Fontyne + his son Alex (+ others?)
• Social events including after sailing drinks at the LCSC bar and a catch-up dinner at the iconic Apollonian Hotel
🥇 Can we break our record of 35 competitors? Let’s do it! Whether you’re an old hand or brand new, come be part of something awesome. The vibe is friendly, inclusive, and relaxed — the way windsurfing should be.
