Twelfth Night is a rousing contemporary musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy about mistaken identity and self-discovery. This is the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, is sent to court a countess and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful new land, she finds her true self and true love in the process. Featuring an original jazz-funk score by two-time Tony Award winner Shaina Taub, this musical version of Twelfth Night was named one of the best theatrical productions of 2018 by Time, The Hollywood Reporter and The Washington Post, and is appropriate for all audiences.

Bordentown Regional High School’s musical, Legally Blonde, was awarded the prestigious Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award for Outstanding Musical in 2012, and their 2024 production of The Addams Family was honored with a nomination in the same category. Over the past decade, the Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards have honored BRHS Theatre performances with seventy-seven nominations and eighteen awards. The theatrical performances of BRHS have also been honored with awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival and the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards. Bordentown Regional High School is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803.
