Jazz Jam

ATTENTION: Local musicians and music students, people seeking accessible cultural experiences and people interested in live music and improvised music!

The Monthly Jazz Jam at Sleeping Cat is a community-centered live music program that supports local musicians, fosters artistic collaboration, and provides accessible cultural programming for the Bordentown community;
supporting Sleeping Cat’s mission to present accessible, artist-driven programming that fosters community connection and creative expression.

Each event opens with a short set by a curated house band -led by the amazing Justin Lee, establishing the musical tone and welcoming the audience. The remainder of the evening is a facilitated open jam, inviting local musicians to participate in a supportive, well-organized environment.

This event is part of Sleeping Cat's vision to offer regular live musical programming, solidifying Sleeping Cat’s role as a cultural hub while nurturing local talent and encouraging intergenerational artistic exchange.
