- **Event Description**: Join Deam Lake's Interpretive Naturalist in celebrating National Take a Hike Day with this guided autumn hike! Enjoy the beautiful fall weather, a challenging yet satisfying course, and some incredible views. 

This rugged 5.5 mile loop is best suited for moderately experienced hikers, but a shorter, less rugged out-and-back option will be available as well. Please bring close-toed hiking shoes or boots, water and snacks, and appropriate clothing for this rain-or-shine event. This hike will be canceled in the event of severe weather. 

Meet at the overflow parking lot just past the Camp Gate. 

This loop is 1 of 8 hikes included in our new property-wide Hiking Challenge! Patches commemorating the completion of each hike are available for purchase at the Park Office and Main Gate. More information about this Hiking Challenge will be available at this event.
