Big Muddy BBQ

The Big Muddy BBQ has been a cornerstone of the festival since the very beginning largely thanks to Terry Smith. Terry has poured years of hard work, heart, and smoke into making the BBQ what it is today. After running it from day one, he is officially retiring from the pit. We are beyond grateful for his dedication and the legacy he leaves behind.

This year, we're excited to welcome Matt Buerky and Daniel Yount of B&Y BBQ as they step in to carry the torch. They're bringing the same commitment to quality and flavor that festival-goers have come to expect.

One change for 2026: we're scaling things back a bit. BBQ will be served DINNER ONLY, both nights of the festival from 4-7 PM. But don't worry, you'll still find all the same great smoked meats, classic sides, and homemade desserts that make the Big Muddy BBQ a must-have tradition.

Here's to honoring the past and firing up the next chapter!
