- **Event Description**: At 7:00 pm on Good Friday, April 3, the choirs of Rocky Mount Christian Church, Boones Mill Christian Church, and Doe Run Christian Church join together at Boones Mill Christian Church to present a moving performance of The Shadow of the Cross, a contemporary Tenebrae service that celebrates the events of the life of Jesus between the joyous "Hosannas" of Palm Sunday and the resurrection "Alleluias" of Easter. 

A soup and bread meal will be served at 5:00 in the Fellowship Hall at BMCC preceding the Tenebrae service. 

Additionally, between 4:00 and 5:00, all are invited to experience the Stations of the Cross at BMCC. The Stations of the Cross is a Lenten tradition that celebrates Christ's journey to crucifixion. Walk the fourteen stations and deepen your spiritual connection with our Lord in prayer, meditation, and hymns.

You may come only to the Tenebrae service at 7:00; or, you may join us for the Stations of the Cross at 4:00, the communal meal at 5:00, and the Tenebrae service at 7:00. The Gospel of John assures us, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it: (1:15).
