Kathleen Liang learned to cook as a child in her Asian household and is an expert at growing Asian fruit and vegetable varieties in North Carolina. During this class, you’ll assist her as she demonstrates simple Asian techniques, including stir-frying. Information about the health benefits of Asian-style fruits and vegetables along with recipes will be shared.
Kathleen Liang grows Asian varieties on the small farm unit at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS), where she serves as co-director. Dr. Liang has been employed by NC A&T State University since August 2016.
