- **Event Description**: A network of wellness leaders sharing ideas, resources, and strategies to create healthier, more supportive workplaces year-round.About this EventThe Making the Grade in Workplace Wellness Network is a collaborative, interdisciplinary community of professionals dedicated to fostering healthier, more supportive workplaces across the region. Formed through participation in the Making the Grade in Workplace Wellness Spring Summit , the network connects wellness leaders from higher education, both public/private universities and community colleges (healthcare, government, nonprofits, and private industry are welcome as well!) to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build sustainable wellness practices.Members focus on sharing best practices, identifying useful resources, highlighting successful programs, and collaborating to overcome barriers to wellness. Regional meetings provide opportunities for members to connect locally, share information and needs, and contribute to planning the large statewide Spring Summit in May. The network also provides a space for meaningful networking, peer support, and innovation, helping organizations create inclusive, responsive, and effective workplace wellness cultures that enhance both employee well-being and organizational performance.Agenda coming soon. It was created in response to the 2008 state policy that all state agencies must have an employee wellness program. The event was a time for universities and community colleges across the state to come together to overcome obstacles and share ideas and resources.  It then returned in 2015 as an annual event and is now a 2 day conference! The Making the Grade in Worksite Wellness Conference now moves around the state each year. In 2016, the event was hosted at UNC-Wilmington."
