In celebration of the famous bard's birthday, 450 years ago, join us for the inaugural Boone Birding Festival! William Shakespeare's prose involves many species of birds. He wrote about birds in more than 600 passages! Our collaboration with the Audubon Society, as well as neighboring Daniel Boone Native Gardens and Strawberry Hill Arboretum, afford our guests great locales for bird walks and talks. This spring, learn about why the High Country offers such unique opportunities for birding and for Shakespeare!
