4th Annual Iowa Cornhawker’s meet for the 2025/26 season!

Date: The tentative date is January 24th & 25th. That’s a Saturday and Sunday.
Time: 10am-12pm lunch and social time, 12pm-sunset group hawking
Location: Boone, IA (same as every year)
Weather: As we know from the previous years, the weather can be very unpredictable and unforgiving at this time of year, so wear clothes appropriate for deep Iowa winter. Boots, warm clothes, pants that won’t get ripped walking through heavy cover, gloves, hats (no fur lined hoods or hats please), and camo and blaze orange are not required, and are discouraged.

Gamehawkers all, you are invited to the 4th annual Cornhawkers meet.
If you are a master falconer or just interested in learning about falconry or meeting and networking with some like minded people, please join us for 2 two days of action!
There will be a 1-2 hour period both days where we can eat lunch (please bring a dish to share or a small donation for reserving the meeting space). After lunch, we will break out into smaller groups with a diverse group of birds to choose from and go hawking for wild game!
The invite is open to anyone and everyone. If you have friends from out of state, please invite them as well. If you make falconry products and are interested in selling some or teaching people how to make something, please bring your equipment. There will be table space.
