- **Event Description**: Join me as we gather together as women, for a special morning of connection and rejuvenation as we approach the winter solstice.

You are invited to step away from the ‘doing’ of life and into the grounding embrace of nature for a morning of retreat within the enchanting setting of Temple Village in Midlothian.

We will take time to get outdoors under the wintering trees, noticing how it feels to slow down and sync our energy to the natural rhythms of our earth. Our intent will be to step away from everyday life and take time to connect to our innate wisdom and those practices that will open us up to the regenerative darkness of winter.

Through ceremony, mindfulness, breath and movement we will explore our connection to nature and experience how deeply nourishing this can be to our own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

As well as time outdoors, the morning will also include a short cacao ceremony and yoga nidra.

There will be space to talk, to be heard, to listen and to connect to other inspiring women like you, in a way that can be profoundly healing and transformative.

In order to keep this intimate, numbers are limited to 8 women.

This event is for women only.

Instructions
*Open to all women, however, due to the nature of the woodland/steep descent and ascent into the woodland, this event is unfortunately not suitable for those with limited mobility.
Please note that we will spend at least half the time outside, so please dress for the weather!

There is a high chance it may be wet and cold, it is Scotland after all!. So please bring waterproofs, loads of layers and sturdy waterproof boots that allow for uneven and in parts, muddy terrain.

Our morning will begin and end in Temple Village Hall where there are toilet facilities and plentiful hot drinks!

For any cancellations there will be no refunds or transfers. If the workshop is cancelled you will be offered either a cash refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative event.

You will not hold Caroline McIntosh/Caroline Yoga or any instructors affiliated with Caroline McIntosh / Caroline Yoga responsible for any injuries or loss you may incur as a result of your participation in this retreat morning.
