Der britische Gitarrist, Sänger und Songwriter hat sich in der Blues/Rock-Szene in den letzten 23 Jahren einen exzellenten Ruf erspielt und konnte u.a. für sein 2013 erschienenes Album „Home“, seiner mittlerweile mehr als ansehnlichen Sammlung von Auszeichnungen gleich drei neue hinzufügen: bei den British Blues Awards 2014 wurde der Titeltrack des Albums „Home“ als „Song Of The Year“ ausgezeichnet.

Anysley Lister wurde „Songwriter of the Year“ und 2015 setzte sich der Musiker als „Guitarist of the Year“ gegen die Konkurrenz durch. In Listers Musik fügen sich eingängige Melodien nahtlos zusammen mit brennenden Blues-Soli, die so leidenschaftlich wie geschmackvoll sind. Peter Green, Albert King und Eric Clapton sind und waren die Haupteinflüsse auf den heranwachsenden AYNSLEY LISTER. Auf dieser Basis hat AYNSLEY seine eigene, einzigartige Perspektive auf den zeitgenössischen Blues erschaffen.
