You will be able to book your tickets for single weeks in advance to secure your place. Tickets will be available at the door too.No experience, partner or kilt is needed, just you. Bring along a pair of comfy shoes (trainers are perfect, no high heels please), a friend, if you like, and your sense of humour to start your journey into this fantastic hobby.No age limit, but under 18 years old should be accompanied by a responsible adult.The classes include Ceilidh and Scottish Country dances, traditional and more modern ones and even sometimes brand new dances devised by us. We mainly have live music by Phill and Zsofi leads most of the classes. We have regular Ceilidhs and social events. The group started in 2018 and having classes on Tuesday nights in Bo'ness at the Bridgeness Club.We take photos and videos at our classes for promotional reasons, please let us know on the evening if you don't want to be included in these.Scottish Dancing is so popular all around the world, we welcome all nationalities at our events.1st week?: 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM1st weekInfo: We will learn skip change of step and some basic figures. You may find you are learning a completely new language. Don't worry we were all in this shoe when we started! There will be always a helping hand and you just need to focus to have fun.2nd week?: 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM2nd weekInfo: After a quick repeat on the 1st week figures, we start to build on the basics and learn to do pas-de-basque, it sounds so exotic, I know, but we will start easy and maybe by the end of the evening you will be a fan of it! We will add more words to our Scottish Dancing dictionary, you will be an expert by now of casting, leading, dancing.3rd week?: 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM3rd weekInfo: You made it for week 3, you are already recognising dancing terms, people and maybe learnt some names as well! There will be some new dances, focusing on the figures we already learnt. And adding a bit more every week.4th week?: 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM4th weekInfo: This will be the last week of our wee course, we will introduce you to strathspeys. These dances are so elegant, a real Scottish invention. The tempo will be very different from the ones you did before, but just remember starthspey = no stress pay!
