Join Me This Saturday for a Free Community Mural Workshop! 

I’m excited to be hosting a free mural workshop as part of Bondurant’s 2026 Blues, Brews & Hues Festival - and everyone is invited!

No registration required, just show up and participate.

This workshop is open to all ages and no experience is necessary. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, an aspiring creative, or simply curious about how murals are made, this is a great opportunity to get involved.

Our goals are twofold:

• Create a community mural that will become a public art installation on display for the next several years.

• Share the mural-making process with anyone interested in learning how large-scale public art projects come together.

We’ll be working on six 4’ x 8’ paint-by-number panels, all of which need to be completed in a single day. It’s an ambitious project, but with the community’s help, it’s going to be an exciting and rewarding experience!

Participants will also have the opportunity to sign the project log and be recognized as collaborators in the completion of the mural.

For those interested in learning more about the craft, I’ll have a production packet available that walks through the entire mural process, including:

• Material selection
• Design development
• Surface preparation
• Painting techniques
• Installation and post-production considerations

Whether you’d like to paint for five minutes or stay all day, I’d love to have you be a part of this project and help create something meaningful for our community.
