About the event

Maroubra Sound Waves
Maroubra Sound Waves is a youth music competition that celebrates the talent of local artists aged 12-24 years. Finalists are provided main stage opportunity at Maroubra Beach in a ‘Battle of the Bands’ style event. Winners are determined by live audience vote on the day of the event, 31 January 2026.

There will also be stalls and activities.
