Nel Medioevo candele e tanti altri manufatti illuminavano infatti case, chiese, palazzi, castelli e strade, accompagnando la vita di uomini e donne del tempo. 

Attraverso una performance didattica l'associazione Niedertor mit Gefolge ci porta alla riscoperta di questa cultura materiale ancora poco conosciuta.
