We are once again asking: will you come on Sunday morning for a walk 'round Winter Hill? Join us for our 3rd annual Winter Hill Walk to commemorate the 1896 mass trespass. This year we are coming together to commemorate Britain's largest ever mass trespass in its 130th year.

We’ll be meeting at Bolton Interchange around 11:00, walking to the base of the hill at Smithills Hall, then ascending to the monument and back down (either the same way in a circular route weather permitting). Tales of the event will be told along the way and much merriment will be had!

This will be followed in the evening by a social at the Bolton Socialist Club at 6pm for their WRITE OUT LOUD open mic. Food and drink will be provided. (see poster in comments)
