- **Event Description**: We are delighted to have been asked to host the official launch of "Amelia B Edwards: Queen of Egyptology", the latest book by the The Egypt Exploration Society, written by its director Dr Carl Graves, and you are all invited to join us!

Saturday 14th June, 6pm
Bolton Museum 

FREE, booking not required

The evening will include speeches from the author Dr Carl Graves (EES Director), Prof Joann Fletcher (Lead EES Local Ambassador) and our own Egyptology Curator Ian Trumble.
Held in the galleries, you will also be able to view the latest temporary exhibition "In the Temple of the Female Pharaoh: Howard Carter and Hatshepsut".

Copies of the book will be available to purchase on the evening.
