COS’È L’ECSTATIC DANCE?
Ecstatic Dance è una pratica di danza consapevole, senza bandiera, che celebra la libertà del movimento e la connessione autentica con sé stessi e con gli altri. Non ci sono giudizi, competizione o coreografie: solo spazio per esprimere ciò che sei, così come sei.

COSA ASPETTARSI?
Un viaggio di danza libera con un set accuratamente selezionato, supportato da momenti di radicamento e facilitazione guidati da persone con esperienza in musica e danza consapevole. Attraverso il movimento e i suoni ti invitiamo ad esplorare emozioni, energia e presenza. Dopo la danza, un momento di chiusura ti aiuterà a integrare l’esperienza. È anche un’occasione per incontrare nuove persone e crescere insieme come comunità.

CHE MUSICA SUONIAMO?
La musica è il battito dell’Ecstatic Dance, un viaggio che attraversa ritmi, stili e tempi da ogni parte del mondo. A differenza dei tipici eventi nei club, i nostri facilitatori rompono gli schemi intrecciando sonorità tribali, folk, elettroniche in un flusso che scorre dai paesaggi sonori meditativi fino a vibrazioni potenti e travolgenti.

MUSICA, NATURA ED IL NOSTRO MODO DI AGIRE - EARTHPERCENT
La cultura dell’Ecstatic Dance e dei suoni che la accompagnano nasce da una relazione profonda con la natura, i suoi ritmi e i suoi cicli. Questa attenzione alla natura e alla consapevolezza non vive solo nello spazio della danza, ma attraversa anche i nostri percorsi personali e professionali.

Proprio per questo, sentiamo naturale estendere questa attenzione anche all’impatto delle nostre scelte come progetto di danza, destinando il 5% dei ricavi a EarthPercent come gesto concreto di connessione tra la nostra pratica, la musica e la cura del pianeta che abitiamo.

COSA MI PORTO A CASA?
La danza è un modo divertente e naturale per nutrire corpo e mente, indipendentemente da età e fisicità: migliora tono muscolare e salute cardiovascolare, aumenta flessibilità, mobilità ed equilibrio, rafforza la resistenza, riduce stress e ansia, combatte la depressione, accresce fiducia e creatività… e la lista continua.
In un mondo sempre più connesso ma spesso isolante, la danza consapevole offre uno spazio per staccare, ritrovare presenza e creare connessioni autentiche in una comunità viva.

CHI SIAMO – ECSTATIC GROOVES
Ecstatic Grooves nasce dal nostro amore condiviso per il movimento, la musica e la comunità. Dal 2024 organizziamo eventi di danza consapevole ispirati all’Ecstatic Dance, creando spazi sicuri e inclusivi dove muoversi liberamente, riconnettersi con sé stessi e vivere la pista da ballo come un luogo sacro di espressione e connessione.

I nostri percorsi personali ci hanno portato tra il Brasile, il Regno Unito e l’Italia, attraversando musica, immersioni culturali e crescita interiore. Da questa esperienza comune è nata la visione di Ecstatic Grooves: un progetto dedicato al movimento consapevole e alla costruzione di una comunità dal cuore aperto.

Holly Fontanelli, co-fondatrice, curatrice musicale e DJ formata con Dance The Medicine, porta con sé oltre vent’anni di esperienza musicale e una grande capacità di creare viaggi sonori intuitivi ed emozionali.
Felippe Fontanelli, co-fondatore e facilitatore certificato di Ecstatic Dance (Livello 2, Dance The Medicine), unisce imprenditoria, mentoring e passione per il movimento consapevole e cura dello spazio.
Insieme custodiamo la pista con presenza, rispetto e gioia.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?
Ecstatic Dance is a practice of conscious movement, without labels, celebrating the freedom of expression and authentic connection with yourself and others. There are no judgments, no competition, no choreography—only space to express who you are, just as you are.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
A free style dance journey with a carefully curated set, supported by moments of grounding and facilitation guided by people with experience in music and conscious movement. Through sound and movement, you're invited to explore emotions, energy, and presence. After the dance, a closing circle will help integrate the experience. It’s also a chance to meet new people and grow together as a community.

WHAT MUSIC DO WE PLAY?
Music is at the core of Ecstatic Dance—a journey crossing rhythms, styles, and tempos from all over the world. Unlike clubbing, our facilitators creates a journey mixing together electronic, tribal, folk and nature sounds in a flow that moves from meditative landscapes to powerful and uplifting vibrations.

MUSIC, NATURA AND OUR WAY OF TAKING ACTION - EARTHPERCENT
The culture of Ecstatic Dance and the sounds that accompany it is deeply rooted in a relationship with nature, its rhythms and its cycles. Soundscapes, silence and vibration often echo natural elements such as earth, water, breath and movement. This attention to nature and awareness extends beyond the dance space and into our personal and professional paths.

For this reason, we feel it is natural to extend this attention to the impact of our choices as a dance project, dedicating 5% of our revenues to EarthPercent as a small but concrete gesture connecting our practice, music and care for the planet we inhabit.

WHAT DO I GET FROM IT?
Dance is a fun and natural way to nourish body and mind, regardless of age or body type: it strengthens muscles and cardiovascular health, improves flexibility, mobility, and balance, builds stamina, reduces stress and anxiety, combats depression, and boosts confidence and creativity… and the list goes on...
In today’s hyper-connected yet often isolating world, conscious dance offers a space to unplug, find presence, and build authentic connections within a vibrant community.

SCHEDULE
20:45 – 23:00 (arrival from 20:30 for registration and welcome).
? Please be on time: the event starts at 20:45 sharp.

CONTRIBUTION
€25 – door entry, cash only
€20 – online presale until 2 hours before the event

€17.50 – for those who buy at least 2 tickets and come with a friend

€10 – solidarity ticket for students and anyone on a reduced budget

WHO WE ARE – ECSTATIC GROOVES
Ecstatic Grooves was born from our shared love for movement, music, and community. Since 2024, we have been organizing conscious dance events inspired by Ecstatic Dance, creating safe and inclusive spaces where people can move freely, reconnect with themselves, and experience the dancefloor as a sacred place of expression and connection.

Our personal journeys have taken us through Brazil, the UK, and Italy, across music, cultural immersion, and inner growth. From this shared experience, Ecstatic Grooves was born: a project dedicated to conscious movement and building an open-hearted community.

Holly Fontanelli, co-founder, music curator and Dance The Medicine trained DJ, brings over twenty years of musical experience and an ability to create intuitive and emotional sound journeys.
Felippe Fontanelli, co-founder and certified Ecstatic Dance Level 2 facilitator with Dance The Medicine, combines entrepreneurship, mentoring, and a passion for conscious movement and holding the space.
Together, we hold the dancefloor with presence, respect, and joy.
