Bulls on Bolivar – Easter Weekend, April 4
We’re bringing back the excitement this Easter weekend with CPRA bull riders, top-tier stock from Champion Rodeo Company, the voice of rodeo TC Long, and the high-energy entertainment of rodeo clown Jeff “Jackrabbit” Harris.
This year marks a major milestone: Bulls on Bolivar is now run and organized by the Bolivar Arena Association (BAA), a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a full-size, open arena on the Bolivar Peninsula. Once built, this arena will host rodeos, bull riding, and a wide range of community events for years to come.
Because the Port Bolivar Volunteer Fire Department launched Bulls on Bolivar in 2021 and 2022, it was only fitting that this event becomes the first official project of the Bolivar Arena Association. Our mission is simple but powerful:
support local volunteer fire departments, help our schools, and provide scholarships for students right here on the peninsula.
