Between 6 – 9am on Wednesday, February 14, members of the Episcopal Church of Saint Benedict will stand outside the church, offering a brief prayer and the imposition of Ashes. Saint Benedict is located at 909 Lily Cache Lane in Bolingbrook.

Many people find it difficult to take part in a church-centered Ash Wednesday service.  Others may find that restrictive commuting schedules limit their presence at a traditional service, or it may be that they haven’t connected with a church community.

Jesus welcomes all to his table, and so do the people of St. Benedict.  We do hope you'll stop by on Wednesday morning and allow us the honor of imposing ashes upon you.
