We'll be taking time to appreciate the spring landscape and observe various bird behaviors throughout our walk.Marianne Williams Park is a 72-acre park featuring paved walking paths along a variety of habitats, including 2 large ponds, and is part of the Idaho Birding Trail. Some of the most prevalent spring birds here are ducks, warblers, blackbirds, cormorants, and herons. If we’re lucky, we may spot a rail!Recently reported species can be seen here: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L1498375Accessibility: This event is appropriate for those with visual impairment and is wheelchair accessible. We will be walking along a loop that has a few benches if you need to take a break.Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.Time: 9:00am - 11:00am. Check-in is at 8:50am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time. Marianne Williams Park picnic shelter, adjacent to the parking lot. (Click on "Meeting Place" to get directions from your location.)What to Bring: Layers for weather, sun protection, binoculars, water, and snacks as needed. A spotting scope will be available for the group to share.
