This December, our circle is gathering with a special purpose: to show up for each other.
It's a hard winter for many in our community, especially with the recent loss of SNAP benefits. So, we're taking the rhythm from our hands and putting it into action. "Rhythm of the Hearth" is our chance to come together, share our pulse, and nourish our community in both body and soul.
This isn't just a drum circle; it's an act of connection.
Here’s the flow for the day, all hosted at the beautiful Center for Spiritual Living - Boise (CSL):
Part 1: The Drum Circle & Food Drive (Starts at 2 PM)
Come find your rhythm with us. Instead of a cash donation, your entry to the circle this month is a non-perishable food item.
We'll drop in, connect, and co-create that powerful, grounded energy that only this community can. As always, no experience is necessary, and we will have plenty of instruments available. Just come as you are.
All food collected will go first to our Community Pantry, supporting anyone within our own circle who needs it. This is about solidarity, not charity. Any food remaining will be donated to the local food bank.

Part 2: The Community Feast (Starts at 4 PM)
After the last drum beat, the connection continues!
We'll flow directly into a warm Community Feast to share a meal, tell stories, and just be together.
Feast Ticket: $5 This helps us cover food costs, with all extra proceeds being donated directly to our partners at CSL as a huge "thank you" for gifting us their space.
Pay-It-Forward Ticket: $10 If you're able, this ticket buys your meal and a meal for a community member who may not be financially able.

Our Promise: No one will be turned away from the feast for lack of funds. Your presence is the true currency. Consider sharing this event with friends and family as a way to support us.
How You Can Help (We Need You!)
This is a true community co-creation, and we need your help to make it happen! If you feel called to serve, we are looking for volunteers to help us build this container.
We need support in a few key areas:
Pantry Crew: Setting up the food pantry with dignity and beauty.
Feast Crew: Helping to cook, set up, and serve the meal.
Vibe Crew: Helping with setup, greeting, and cleanup.
All volunteers for the Feast will, of course, receive a complimentary meal ticket!
