nature, & spend time in community!About this EventLatinos Explorando is inviting you to come explore Quinn’s Pond together in community by paddleboard during Latino Conservation Week, a time to celebrate our connection to the outdoors & the places we all call home.We’ll start with a quick introduction to paddleboarding basics, watersafety, & what to expect on the pond before heading out together. Nopaddleboarding experience needed, just come ready to learn, explore,& enjoy the water at your own pace. We’ll paddle around Quinn’s Pond,take in the evening scenery, & make space to connect with naturaleza& comunidad.We’ll wrap up back on shore with time to hang out, share some laughs,some drinks & snacks & enjoy being outside together. ¡Una tarde pararemar, explorar y disfrutar nuestra comunidad!¡Nos vemos en Quinn 's Pond! Registration: Not required, but encouraged to let organizers knowyou’ll be coming. Contact Latinos Explorando, @LatinosExplorando onInstagram.Activity Level: EasyWhat to Bring: Wear water-friendly clothing (swimsuit, shorts, or sunshirt), water shoes, & bring a towel. Bring water, sunscreen, & anypersonal items you may need. A small waterproof pack (dry bag) tocarry water, snacks  plus sunscreen and any other personal items isrecommended otherwise items can also be left in a car.Required: A paddleboard with an invasive species sticker & a lifejacket are required. If you don’t have an invasive species sticker, wecan help you get one at the event! Some loaner life jackets will beavailable.Paddleboards: Idaho River Sports offers paddleboard rentals right atQuinn’s Pond. Please plan ahead if you need to rent a board.Accessibility: Quinn’s Pond offers calm water that makes it a greatplace for beginners, while still giving experienced paddlers room toexplore. Parking & restrooms are available on-site.This event is part of Idaho Latino Conservation Week.
