Holiday Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Boise with the annual lighting of the Downtown Boise Holiday Tree, presented by Boise Cascade! Adorned with more than 5,000 lights and a custom-made tree topper, the 45-foot tree is Boise Cascade’s gift to our downtown and lights up the Grove Plaza throughout the season.

Join your neighbors at this free all-ages event complete with a candle lighting ceremony, live holiday music by local band Payette, special guests, and the official countdown and lighting of the Holiday Tree!

The Holiday Tree Lighting event is made possible by our amazing volunteer teams who hand out candles, monitor for fire safety, and share event information with guests. Thank you, volunteers!
