The result is often confusion, fear, and regret— for patients, families, and caregivers. The Good Death, Good Life Cafe is a FREE community gathering for adults of all ages who want a kinder, more prepared way to face aging, serious illness, and end of life.During this 90 minute Café, we'll explore practical and emotional topics around aging and end of life in clear, compassionate language. You'll be invited (never forced) to share your thoughts, ask questions, listen to others, and learn simple ways to support yourself and the pepole you care about. This is not a therapy group or a place where anyone is "fixed". It is a safe, respectful space to learn, reflect, and connect.Everyone deserves compassionate end-of-life care.As The Deathwise Doula, I welcome individuals and families of every sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, faith, and family structure. My commitment is to create a space where you are seen, respected, and supported exactly as you are.

"description": "My path into this work began through caregiving and my own experiences with grief and loss.Witnessing the deaths of loved ones at an early age opened my heart to the importance of compassionate support during life’s most vulnerable moments. As I learned more about death, dying, and my own mortality, I recognized a need for greater education, honest conversation, and gentle guidance for individuals and families facing life’s final chapter. As a Registered Behavioral Technician, Caregiver, and End-of-Life Doula, I bring together my passion for serving others with experience supporting people through both everyday challenges and profound life transitions. My mission is to meet each person with compassion, dignity, and respect for their unique journey. As a Doulagiver, I offer non-medical end-of-life support, advance care planning guidance, community education, and Death Cafes that encourage open conversations about mortality, caregiving, grief, and what it means to live well. While we cannot change the reality of death, we can change the way we prepare for it, talk about it, and walk alongside one another through it. Becoming Deathwise is not just about preparing for death. It’s about learning to live with greater awareness, courage compassion, and intention."
