Essential Jazz

Essential Jazz is made up of 14 singers and 4 combo members. The group consists of many local music educators and other stand-out performers.

Step into an evening of smooth sophistication and timeless melodies, as Essential Jazz takes the state with The Classic Sound of Essential Jazz. From soulful ballads to swinging standards, this adult jazz choir brings the golden age of jazz to life with rich harmonies, vibrant rhythms, and unmistakable style.

Set in the intimate elegance of the Sapphire Room at the Riverside Hotel, this performance promises a night of music that’s both nostalgic and fresh—a tribute to the legends of jazz and the enduring power of the genre.

Join us for dinner and drinks! The Sapphire Room features a full dinner and bar menu. The Sapphire Room is all-ages and family friendly. Every person that enters must have a ticket. No babes in arms.

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
