- **Event Description**: Join us on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James Castle House for a monotype printmaking workshop.About this EventBe A Maker is a series of hands-on, family-friendly workshops inspired by Boise artist James Castle and our current exhibition, .Through guided activities led by Boise artist Amy Nack, families can expect a welcoming, inclusive space to experiment, play, and make art together.Join us on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James Castle House for a monotype printmaking workshop.In this workshop, we’ll cut simple paper stencils to place on a series of plates inked with primary colors. As we flip and move the stencils with each new color, the alchemy of the monotype process will be revealed, and you will take home a unique set of stunning multi-colored prints worthy of framing!This workshop is $15 per participant, with registration required.All materials will be provided. This workshop is best suited for children ages 4 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
