Join us for another friendly discussion at the Bognor Pagan Moot. Whether you're new to paganism or have been walking your path for many years, you'll find a warm welcome awaiting you.

We'll begin by exploring the Waning Gibbous Moon, the moon phase on the evening of 3rd September. Following the brightness of the Full Moon, the Waning Gibbous invites us into a time of gratitude, reflection and sharing our wisdom with others. It encourages us to consider what we have learned over recent weeks, to recognise the abundance in our lives, and to begin releasing anything that no longer serves us as we prepare for the next stage of the lunar cycle.

We'll then turn our attention to the ever-turning Wheel of the Year as we approach the Autumn Equinox (Mabon). This is a season of balance, thanksgiving and harvest, when day and night move towards equal length. It is a wonderful time to celebrate the fruits of our efforts, gather the harvests from our gardens, preserve herbs and seasonal produce, enjoy walks amongst the changing colours of nature, and reflect on the balance between light and darkness within our own lives.

Our main discussion for the evening will be DIVINATION. Throughout history, people have sought guidance and inspiration through many different methods of divination. During the evening we may explore topics such as:

♡ Tarot and oracle cards

♡ Cartomancy with traditional playing cards

♡ Tea leaf reading (Tasseography)

♡ Pendulums and dowsing

♡ Runes and ogham

Please feel free to bring along any divination tools you own. Whether you have a favourite tarot deck, a set of runes, a pendulum, tea cups, ogham staves or something entirely different, we'd love to see them and hear about your experiences.

Everyone is welcome to our friendly Pagan Moot. The Friary Arms offers a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of parking and a delicious menu, making it the perfect place to spend an inspiring evening in good company.
