Official Proposal: Move From Monthly to Quarterly Business Meetings (Beginning 2026)
Westside Church family, the leadership is presenting the following official proposal regarding our business meeting structure. This change is being recommended in order to strengthen attendance, increase engagement, and provide a more meaningful experience for our members.

Move from monthly business meetings to quarterly gatherings beginning in 2026.
These quarterly meetings will be called Church Life Conferences and will take place on Sundays at 6:00 PM.

2026 Church Life Conference Dates
• January 25, 2026 – 6:00 PM
• April 26, 2026 – 6:00 PM
• July 26, 2026 – 6:00 PM
• October 25, 2026 – 6:00 PM
• December 6, 2026 – Year-in-Review & 2027 Budget Presentation

Additional Notes
• Monthly financial statements will continue to be available through the church office.
• Any urgent matters may be addressed through special-called business meetings as needed.
• These quarterly Church Life Conferences will include:
• Worship
• Committee reports
• Ministry celebrations
• Financial and budget updates
• Opportunities for questions and church-wide communication

Why Church Life Conferences Matter
• Every member has a voice and a vote.
• Financial transparency is essential—you deserve to know where every penny is spent and what God is providing through your giving.
• Committees matter, and your participation matters. Our ministries and projects rely on faithful involvement from our members.
• Your presence helps shape the future of our church and keeps you connected to the mission God has given us.
Examples of what your involvement supports:
• The church provides plants and meals to families experiencing loss. Are you able to help make a side dish or come to the church and help us host these families?
• Our fellowship hall was renovated in 2025, and several projects are planned for 2026 that need helping hands. Are you handy or have specialized skills that will help us be the best stewards of the property that the Lord has given us?
• Did you know that we have a designated account to renovate our baptistery to ensure it remains safe, clean, and ready for every baptism? It's currently need of some work done to make sure that we can continue to use it on a regular basis.

• Time of Discussion during our regularly scheduled, monthly Business Meeting:
Sunday, December 14 at 3:16 PM
(We will walk through the proposal and answer questions.)
• Vote on the Proposal:
Sunday, December 28 — immediately following the morning service (Special-called business meeting for the vote.)
