- **Event Description**: The Kendall County Republican Club, at its August 15, 2017 general membership meeting, Kronkosky Place, Boerne, will present as its guest speaker Kevin Templin, Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs Officer, at  National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center (JSC),  Houston, TX.  Mr. Templin, a Texas A&M  graduate and a 32-year NASA veteran, spent the first half of his career in the Engineering Directorate at the JSC, then 14 years in the Space Shuttle Program, serving as Vehicle Manager for the Orbiters Discovery and Atlantis.

In his current capacity, Mr. Templin’s responsibilities include communicating with elected officials regarding ongoing NASA programs and, specifically, the human space exploration programs led by the JSC.

Topics of Mr. Templin’s talk will include Johnson Space Center role within NASA, The International Space Station, the Orion Program and the Space Launch System.
