Curating & Repair er en publikasjon som utforsker kuratorpraksis og utstillingsskaping som kontekster for dialog, utveksling og gjenskaping av sosiale og kulturelle relasjoner gjennom reparasjon. Den søker handlingsrettet innsikt i hvordan kunstnerisk arbeid, dets formidling og institusjonene som støtter det, kan mobiliseres mot mer bærekraftige og gjensidig avhengige verdener.

Publikasjonen er støttet av Kreativt Europa, Kulturrådet og Fritt Ord.

NOUA & Out of the Metropolis are pleased to invite you to the Bodø-launch of the publication Curating & Repair at NOUA on April 28th, 7pm.

Curating & Repair is a publication exploring contemporary curatorial practices and exhibition-making as contexts for dialogue, exchange and the remaking of social and cultural relations through repair. It seeks actionable insights into how artistic work, its mediation and the institutions that support it might be mobilised toward more sustainable and interdependent worlds. 

Refreshments will be served. 

The publication is a result of a three-year, collaborative project, Out of the Metropolis – Art Exchange Across Borders. The project is initiated by NŌUA (Bodø, Norway), Double Dummy (Arles, France) and The Finnish Museum of Photography (Helsinki, Finland). The publication is supported by Creative Europe, Arts Council Norway and Fritt Ord.
