✨ Add a little sparkle to your tatting ✨
Would you like to start adding beads to your tatting but aren’t quite sure where to begin? This friendly, hands-on workshop will guide you through the basics of incorporating beads into your tatting with confidence.
In this class you’ll learn:
🧵 How to plan where beads should sit in a design
🧵 When to load beads onto the shuttle, bobbin, or leave them loose
🧵 How to work beads neatly into rings and chains
🧵 Tips for choosing bead sizes and colours to suit your thread
Together we’ll make a pair of beaded tatted earrings, and if time allows, you’ll also start a small decorative beaded motif to take home.
⚠️ Please note: This class is suitable for those with some basic tatting experience. You should be comfortable making rings and chains and forming a consistent double stitch. It is not suitable for complete beginners.
