Cornwall AI Summit

The University of Exeter is pleased to announce an AI Summit for business leaders in Cornwall and the South West, and will feature a varied agenda, including a keynote address, presentations, and panel discussions, with refreshments and lunch provided.

The summit is for business leaders and decision-makers from Cornwall and the surrounding areas, all keen to explore how AI is transforming their businesses and organisations, what the future looks like and where they can receive support.

Confirmed speakers include:

Professor Mark Thompson, Professor in AI and Digital Technology at the University of Exeter, and Andrew Proctor, Executive Lead for UK Education at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The afternoon will offer delegates the choice of two free, practical workshops delivered by Dixon AI. Funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, these hands-on sessions will offer step-by-step guidance on applying AI in business, helping organisations translate ideas into action.

Funding Statement

The Digital Futures Cornwall project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by the Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
