Chowder Day 2026 on the Sonoma Coast

TICKETS GO ON SALE DECEMBER 1ST FOR CHOWDER DAY ON THE SONOMA COAST

$30 PER TICKET

Join us for a fun day in the Bodega Bay Area sampling chowder at the numerous restaurants. This is a driving event around the towns allowing you to enjoy our beautiful area. It is not a walking event. This is a Fundraiser for the various charities, scholarships and supporting Bodega Bay area businesses.

Chowder Day event is January 31, 2026. Tasting begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. There are two check-in locations where you will receive your map, commemorative spoon and a wristband to verify your eligibility to taste at each location. Check in locations will be at the VALLEY FORD HOTEL, (next to Rocker's Roadhouse)14415 Highway One, Valley Ford CA 94972 and at the SONOMA COAST VISITOR CENTER, 913 Highway 1, Bodega Bay CA 94923.

You may start any time after 10:00 a.m. Be sure to allow ample time to visit all of the locations by 3:00 p.m. You may taste chowder at each of the participating restaurants in any order you like.

SKIP THE LINE AND CHECK-IN EARLY! You may check-in on Thursday, January 29th and Friday, January 30th from 10am-5pm at the Sonoma Coast Visitor Center at 913 Highway 1.

PRIZES

• Instagram Challenge: Post a picture/selfie (by 3pm, Sat) on Instagram with #BBChowderDay2026, and make sure your favorite restaurant theme is clearly shown in the background. You will automatically be entered into a drawing for a prize. The winner will be notified by email or message! We love group photos!

• Stamped Map: Return your map (with all locations stamped) to the Sonoma Coast Visitor Center at 913 Highway 1, by 4pm or at your last tasting location. You will be automatically entered into a drawing. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. Be sure to print your contact information clearly.
