Beginner Tracking and Naturalist Hike at Estero Americano Preserve

This moderate hike will take us about 4 miles and 400 feet of elevation gain across varied terrain down to the remote Estero beach which abounds with animal tracks. We'll learn basic tracking skills and weave a story about the land and its inhabitants. There will be a steep but short rock scramble down to the sandy beach at the mouth of the Estero. Bring layers, water and a snack. Weather can be sunny and warm or windy and cool.
