With their upcoming release, Saturday Night Sermon (April 24, 2026), Yarn enters a bold new chapter, blending their ever-evolving sound and layered textures with the storytelling Americana fans have come to love. The album opens with its title track, a soaring, guitar- and choir-filled introduction that sets a positive, uplifting tone for the journey ahead. From the singalong encouragement of Let the Universe to the heartfelt ballad Where We Land, the collection navigates gratitude, love, and the human condition, culminating in the reflective, comforting A Welcome New Home. Classic country, horns, gospel choirs, and dynamic arrangements bring depth and warmth, while rock-tinged tracks like Longshot, Might As Well Be King and Never Enough add edge and contrast.
Since forming in New York City nearly 20 years ago, Yarn has charted repeatedly on the Americana Music Association album and singles charts, climbed as high as number 4, and been featured heavily on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country, including their single Traveling Kind. Their 2024 release, Born Blessed, Grateful & Alive, also spent weeks on Americana and Alt.Country radio and appeared on the Grammy ballot for award consideration.
Singer and songwriter Blake Christiana leads the band with his guitar and vocals, embodying the music he writes: “The band has officially found something really special over the past couple of years. It feels like we are finally the live band and album-producing band we always set out to be, and the message we are aiming to deliver has also found its foothold.” Alongside Blake, Robert Bonhomme (drums), Rick Bugel (bass), and Andy Thomas (lead guitar) continue to hone Yarn’s live and studio sound, and the band is only getting stronger.
Yarn’s annual music and alternative arts festival, Yarnival, celebrated its 5th year in October 2025 with resounding success at Pop’s Farm in Axton, VA, a location that will continue to host the festival for years to come. The band will tour North America in support of Saturday Night Sermon and has already begun writing the next chapter of their evolving sound.
About Crazy Fingers:
Crazy Fingers performed their first offical show at a private party at Ultimate Farms in Delray Beach FL on Halloween, 10/31/90. A splendid time was had by all. The original lineup was Bubba Newton on bass,Pete Lavezzoli on drums, Mike Greene on rhythm guitar, and Al Zilinsky on lead guitar. In 1993, Corey Dwyer and Rich Friedman joined the band, with Corey on keyboards and guitar, and Rich on guitar. Both Rich and Corey also sang, joining Pete to give Crazy Fingers a three-part vocal sound. Within a year of Rich and Corey's arrival, the band began touring the state of Florida, opening for national acts, and writing original music which has been recorded on two CDs to date. By the mid 90's, keyboardist Josh Foster began joining the band for special events and statewide shows, eventually relocating from Tampa to become a full member in 1998. Throughout these years the band went through a series of brief changes in the lineup and settled it's longest lineup of Bubba, Pete, Corey, Rich, and Josh. The band continued to build its fan base by playing weekly shows and expanding their repertoire.
Rich took some time off from 2007 to 2011 and Billy Gilmore joined the lineup. In 2014 the band lost Corey to a tragic car accident. It was a huge blow to the band yet even through tough times the band has managed to continue. In 2015 Bubba left and the band was forced to find replacements. Jarrett Aaronson joined the band on Bass and in 2015 the difficult search for a guitar player ended when Johnny Nichols joined the band. Jarrett left in 2016 and Bubba Newton returned to complete the current lineup. Crazy Fingers is Rich, Josh, Pete, Bubba, and Johnny, keeping the band alive and continuing to play on a weekly basis throughout Florida.
The band has played over 5000 live shows, allowing Crazy Fingers to sustain a devoted following and a nationwide reputation as one of the premiere Grateful Dead tribute bands.
