- **Event Description**: Community choir Wansbeck Voices bring you an exciting evening of popular music, local folk and some love songs.About this EventThe community choir, Wansbeck Voices, is absolutely thrilled and excited to share their favourite repertoire with the Yamaha Music School audience tonight!Based locally and rehearsing every Wednesday night at the Choppington Welfare, Wansbeck Voices is dedicated to bringing music and joy to the North East community through performance and participation.This evening's Wansbeck Voices is specially curated to showcase some of our most loved songs, featuring a dynamic mix of popular music, rich and heartfelt traditional North East folk songs, and, in a nod to Valentine's Day, a couple of love songs to celebrate the occasion.The choir was formed back in 2012 under the direction of Richard Scott and is currently led by our musical director, Neil Morton.We look forward to seeing you for what promises to be a fantastic evening of music!
