Calm and Chaos with Jacob Harrison

Jacob Harrison is a classical guitarist and composer from the Northeast of England. His music combines many influences including Renaissance lute music, Brazilian choro, heavy metal, flamenco and impressionism that manifest themselves into colourful and often virtuosic music for the contemporary classical guitar.

Jacob earned his bachelor's degree in music performance from the Leeds Conservatoire in 2020 and his master's degree in composition in 2021. After achieving distinction in his Associate of Trinity College London diploma, Jacob won the Trinity Talent Award for creative flair and was featured in Voice magazine. While earning his master's degree, Jacob studied simultaneously under world-renowned guitar composer Marek Pasieczny, the maestro piano composer Matthew Bourne and the founder of the Augado guitar duo Peter Batchelar.
