- **Event Description**: Celebrate Independence Day in Wells County at the United We Stand 4th of July Celebration in the heart of downtown Bluffton! This family-friendly evening at Parlor City Plaza is packed with patriotic fun, great food, music, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the night.

The festivities begin with a 2.5-mile self-guided “United We Stride” walk, perfect for families, friends, and anyone who wants to start the evening with a little movement and community spirit. After that, the plaza comes alive with food trucks from 5–9 PM (Yergy's BBQ, Kenzie's Coneys, Hideaway) offering plenty of tasty options while you enjoy the celebration.

At 6 PM, the excitement builds with the Patriotic Parade, with participants proudly showing off their red, white, and blue spirit. From creatively decorated vehicles to fun, festive displays, this parade is all about celebrating unity in a patriotic (non-political) way—so expect plenty of energy, creativity, and hometown charm.

We are now accepting parade entries, and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun! Participation is completely free, and entries must be part of a vehicle-based lineup such as cars, trucks, golf carts, classic cars, tractors, motorcycles, Jeeps, and more. To sign up, simply contact the Mayor’s Office by email at Katie.sprunger@blufftonindiana.gov  to reserve your spot. 

Kids will love the face painting from 6–8 PM, and the fun continues with roaming costumed historians bringing the past to life throughout the evening. From there, enjoy live music from 7–9 PM by Classic Rock Experience, delivering high-energy classic hits that will have everyone singing along and soaking in the summer celebration.

The night wraps up with a big fireworks finale at 10 PM, lighting up the sky above Bluffton Schools and providing the perfect ending to a festive community celebration.

Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and come out for a fun-filled evening of community pride, music, food, and fireworks. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July together!
