Mark Master Degree (4th degree)

Exciting news for what promises to be our biggest education night yet MEGHP of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons in Indiana has given dispensation for a traveling Mark Master Degree. This Degree will be open to All Master Masons in Indiana. Although part of the York Rite there is no commitment to join the Rite.
What is it?
The Mark Master Mason degree is an extension of the Fellowcraft degree, focusing on the skills and responsibilities of a craftsman, particularly in the context of building King Solomon's Temple.
It highlights the importance of regular, diligent, and disciplined work.
Candidates are symbolically "advanced" into the degree, not "raised" like in Craft Masonry.
It emphasizes the concept of using a personal mark to identify one's work, a practice used by operative stonemasons.
This will be the first time in 30 years the this degree has been presented at our lodge.
