Our Xtreme Hike is a long-distance, 30-mile challenge that brings together passionate individuals who are ready to go the distance—both physically and philanthropically. Each hiker commits to raising a suggested minimum of $2,500, which supports vital research and care programs through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

This contribution also covers your all-inclusive hike weekend experience, including:

Comfortable accommodations

Fully stocked rest stops with snacks, lunch, and beverages

On-site medical and first-aid support

Hiker welcome items, bag, and exclusive event swag

Before Hike Weekend, we’ll guide you through practice hikes at various Southeastern Wisconsin locations and provide a detailed training calendar to help you build endurance and confidence.

During event weekend, you’ll hike through the breathtaking trails of Blue Mounds State Park, led by experienced volunteer hike guides. Along the route, rest stops—staffed by enthusiastic volunteers—offer plenty of protein-packed snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, beverages, lunch, and medical support.

Each year, we add new features and improvements to make the Xtreme Hike experience even better!

This incredible weekend brings together a dedicated community inspired by one goal: to advance our mission and move closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis. Your commitment fuels progress, hope, and real impact for those living with CF.
