Mark your calendar and join us for a fun-filled day in Blue Lake on Saturday, February 28, for the 2026 Mad Scramble!
The course is shaping up to be another fun one. You’ll find some familiar fan favorites like The Fish Ladder, Gonzo’s Gulch, the Yawn Ramp, and of course the Death Spiral — plus we've added some exciting new challenges, so come prepared!
Race packet pick-up:
Friday, February 27, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at the Paskenta Mad River Brewery Tap Room (thanks Mad River!)
Same-day packet pick-up begins at 9:00 a.m. at the course on Taylor Way.
Timeline:
The 30-minute race starts almost promptly at 11:00 a.m., followed by free kids’ races, and finishing strong with the 60-minute race around 1:00 p.m.
Modeled after last year’s Bogstomp, we’re offering the Double Mad — for just a few dollars more, race both events and have your times combined for a final tally.
Your race entry includes lunch and a beverage of your choice.
Fun and festivities aside, this event is a fundraiser for the Blue Lake Bike Park, with all proceeds going toward completing the park. Even if you’re not racing, come out and enjoy the camaraderie — this course is very spectator-friendly!
