- **Event Description**: Let's get the kids playing baseball again in Blue Island! For all those that say they want to see the "Good Old Days", here's your opportunity help bring some of those to the next generation. We are getting the community together to clean up and repair Schrei Field and get baseball games back in Blue Island. Beverages and light lunch will be provided for volunteers. Some of the tasks we hope to complete are:

-Striping paint
-Replacing wood in bleachers
-Painting fences & bleachers
-Edging the field
-tilling and tamping the bullpens
