"Lifting for a Cause" Weightlifting Competition

$10/member or $15/non-member with proceeds benefiting Blue Grass Youth Sports so they can purchase new equipment to encourage healthy activities for the youth in our community.

Concept: This event will progress as one person will lift at a time. The order of lifters will go from lightest first lift to the heaviest. Lifters will declare their first attempt weights for squat, bench and deadlift upon arrival and relay their next lift weight after their first attempt. Each lifter is allowed three attempts for each squat, bench and deadlift

Awards: This event is designed to celebrate strength of the individuals in Blue Grass and surrounding area.

Upon completion of all lifts the below awards will be presented:
Highest total for Male and Female (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
Biggest (Squat, Bench & Deadlift) for Male and Female (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
