Egyptian shaabi has a long history. Let’s explore the classic era of shaabi music with the legendary shaabi singer, Ahmed Adaweya’s “Salametha Om Hassan”. Let’s dig into the roots of what is now “modern shaabi”, with all the moves that are grounded, earthy, and ooze with “ooey-gooey” sass & sensuality. A brief explanation of the genre and the singer will be discussed.

Combos A La Zahara

Combos À La Zahra - technique, styling and exciting variations on movements, leading into fun combos featuring excerpts of classic bellydance hits by the legendary artist Abdel Halim Hafez. A brief explanation of the singer and the genre will be discussed.
