# Event Details - **Event Name**: The Exchange presents Storytelling: "Belief" - **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 14 Apr, 2026 at 07:00 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: In association with the Exchange Gallery exhibition "Belief", we invite you to come tell your stories on that same theme. We put out the call for entries for the exhibition saying this: "A belief is defined as an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. Beliefs can be a source of strength, conviction, or validation. Beliefs can be limiting or inflexible. However, a belief can evolve or change. What comes to mind when you think of the word belief?" Artists can interpret that theme in any way -- and storytellers can too: Do you have a story about what you used to believe and now don't? About what you did not believe and now do? About how a belief has shaped you? You can bring prose, or poetry, or a song -- anything that tells a story. We would like to hear from you ahead of time about what you plan to present (and please, keep it no more than PG-13 and no more than 10-12 minutes or so). But, we believe, if we tell our stories to each other, and share what we find important about this region, we can start to build the sort of "brand" that those other regions have.
