A Conversation with Hal Pratt & Karen Roszel

Hal Pratt was the longtime Librarian at Bloomsburg Public Library, and Karen Roszel joined him for many years as the Children’s Librarian. In their retirement, they have teamed up again to write and illustrate a series of delightful children’s novels. They published their first book together in 2005 while still at the library. Since 2018, they have published eight new books. In addition, Hal has published five adult novels as H. A. Pratt.

The Friends of the Bloomsburg Public Library invite all in our community to join these prolific and gifted storytellers for a special conversation about their process of writing and illustrating children’s books together. They will have signed copies of their books for sale. Refreshments will be served.
